With profound gratitude, we are honored to convene the 17th Annual Meeting of PERDICI 2026, which this year coincides with the 14th World Sepsis Day. The theme of this meeting, “Redefining Critical Care: Innovation, Integration, and Impact,” reflects our collective commitment to advancing the management of critically ill patients in Indonesia through contemporary scientific approaches, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the strengthening of healthcare workforce capacity.

On this occasion, we are also pleased to introduce the first scientific initiative of Perdatin South Sumatera Branch entitled “The First Symposium on Fluid Therapy, Critical Care, Intensive Care, Resuscitation & Pain Conference in South Sumatera for Longlife Education (SOFT CIRCLE).” This scientific forum is founded upon the philosophy “Where Knowledge Flows, Care Grows,” underscoring our dedication to continuous education and improved service to the community, particularly in the field of critical care.

We sincerely hope that this meeting will serve as a dynamic platform for academic enrichment, exchange of expertise, and innovation, while further strengthening collaboration among clinical practitioners, academicians, and healthcare industry partners.

The invaluable support of our sponsors, distinguished speakers, participants, and all parties involved has contributed significantly to the successful realization of this event. May this series of scientific activities bring meaningful and sustainable benefits toward enhancing the quality of intensive care services in Indonesia.
